Radoslav

Radev

Hello, I’m Radoslav

For more than 20 years I have been dealing (and having fun) with wine, in its numerous manifestations, faces and shapes. I have been involved in all stages of the process except for production but I can’t promise that this won’t happen one day.

Once upon a time, a long time ago, in my previous life, I was a lawyer. Then I met the wine and our tumultuous relationship continues to this day. And it is a well-known fact that whoever once touches the wine, remains connected with it for life. And so do I – I taste, drink, buy, sell, write, talk, read, study…

I love to cook. I am constantly exploring the ways in which wine is pairing with food, with music, with different moments, moods and places. And with different people.

At WineHunt I will share with you this part of my world. I promise it will be interesting and fun.

Stella

Ilcheva

Hi, my name is Stella

I like to drink wine, I especially like red and I especially like to drink it in good company!

Here are a few dry lines of biographical information. I grew up in Obzor – a small town with great potential. I graduated from high school in Varna, continued my education in Veliko Tarnovo, finally found myself in Sofia, and so for 10 years.

I have two cats and a huge dog. I like to lie on the couch at home, pick seeds and watch dumb movies. I have lots of talents – I embroider, I paint (a little ugly), I sing (not always in tune). I love life and enjoy it, that’s what drives my whole world.

My element is television, but I recently stepped firmly into the creation of digital content and this made me think in the direction – what I want to shoot. I’ve never done anything wine-related. The idea for WineHunt was born about a year ago and after long and pleasant meetings with Rado and Stefan, we came to the refinement of my original whim, to what is today WineHunt.

I only do things that I am truly in love with and I promise to put all my love to creating amazing videos and texts for you.

I am excited about everything that is coming and I can’t wait to make you fall in love with WineHunt.

Pour yourself a glass of wine and Cheers, because the hunting season is open

Stefan

Gyonev

Hi, I’m Stefan

My role in WineHunt is to bring the necessary dose of chaos, idle talk and outright  nonsense needed to not get up unnecessarily serious.

From the late 60’s until today, two things dominate and define my life – noise and colors.

And while noise is not important in this case, the colors, their shapes and the way I perceive them have made me what I am – a graphic designer with 20 years of experience. Мy relationship with wine is not accidental and unexpected. I was born in Stara Zagora, my family comes from the Chirpan region and began to engage in viticulture and winemaking in the early 20th century and still does.

Design is my profession, and wine is my legacy – that they somehow combined is a blessing, or a curse, I’m still not quite sure… After so many years, I continue to have fun and experiment… in both. Every opportunity to create projects outside the generally accepted standards, outside the canon, charges me, and every new discovery in wine arouses my curiosity to look for the next one.

Stefan Gyonev

Hi, I’m Stefan

Stefan Gyonev

Design as an application and Wine as a part of everyday life and without mysteries

Vladimir

Pavlov

Hi, I am Vladimir

Most of the day I’m in front of the computer – creating TV and internet content. In my spare time I practice martial arts, play the guitar and parent my son.

My role in WineHunt is to combine the work of the whole team in a smooth story (after Stela “interrupts” Rado and Stefan, who would otherwise talk 24/7 about wine). Since I’m not quite a drinker, I found that the wine is exactly my cup of tea. I used to distinguish wines only by colour, now I already know several varieties. 🙂

I discovered one of the wine’s faces after a long and tiring adventure, at the end of which I had the most delightful glass. A few days after I opened another bottle of exactly the same wine and the taste wasn’t quite there… That’s when I discovered how important mixing an adventure with the wine is! With Stela and the team, we head for adventures walking the vast wine trails. Where they will lead us – no one knows and honestly –  I don’t even care. The important thing is to go on and enjoy the ride.

Asen

Stanev

Hi, I am Asen

My curiosity for wine grew and became a profession around 12 years ago. A little more than 6 years ago the same happened with my fascination for spirits. I often refer to wine, as a subject, a companion who quietly serves as the beginning of connections with new people and topics. Wine is what introduced me to the Winehunters who are working on this incredible project. Whilst talking about wine is important, it is substantial to consume and enjoy it.

The last bit I reserve for myself. Those talking about wine have become annoyingly too many. On one side that is wonderful, but I am not keen on the competitiveness of the field and emigrated to spirits where I can develop my curiosity and knowledge. And stand out from the crowd much easier.

In the last dozen of years I was engaged with speaking, learning, making, selling and practicing on the wine topic. In the last few I also worked with spirits. My task in this project is connected to them. Rare, niche, characteristic, forgotten, new, specific are just a handful of terms that I will use to describe the spirits with and trust me, the terms will be just as common as the many good moments we share with the Winehunters.

Svetoslav

Stoyanov

Hi, I am Svetoslav Stoyanov

My love with wine started back in 2006 while working in the F&B department of a 5-star hotel in the USA which soon led to the opening of one of the first specialized wine stores in Bulgaria in 2008.

My heart brought me to Milan, Italy in 2014 and after winning the Barilla GOOD4 contest, I gained a full scholarship and completed the Master in Food & Beverage Management at Bocconi University, Milan.

I also achieved Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 3 Award in Wines – Pass with Merit and am currently a WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines Candidate.

In the 3 years as a Wine Department Manager for EATALY Germany, I worked closely with over 100 Italian and German wineries and with more than 35 wine distributors while organizing over 100 events and projects. Along this journey, I met many wine friends.

After 12 years of experience and while already working as a business development consultant for a few mid-sized wineries across Northern Italy, I founded STOVINO in 2019 to help wineries achieve more with less.
